Dune: Awakening Comes to Fortnite Creator Islands

Funcom and Meta4 Interactive’s Power Up team have brought a Dune: Awakening experience to select Fortnite creator islands, celebrating the game’s recent console launch. The limited-time activities are available for the next several days.

On Crazy Red vs. Blue (island code 2898-7886-8847), players can explore a Dune: Awakening area with three mechanics:

The Sandworm: Enter a secret code to access a Thumper that summons Shai-Hulud, who can eliminate players and destroy structures.
The Jabal Spitdart Rifle: Collect the weapon and use it to make eliminated players disintegrate into Spice.
Elimination Quest: Rank up through three tiers of Arrakis mastery to unlock the Atreides Scout Hood, Atreides Scout Helmet, and Gurney Halleck’s Baliset for use on the creator island.

In Troll Bedwars (island code 9783-9810-3294), familiar lava areas have been turned into sand—a habitat for Shai-Hulud.
